8:00 AM – 8:30 AM: Pickup and Drive to Thanh Toan Village
- Your guide will pick you up from your hotel, and you’ll head to Thanh Toan Village, located about 8 kilometers from Hue. You can choose the option to be transferred by car, motorbikes OR ride a bicycle by yourself
8:30 AM – 10:00 AM: Thanh Toan Bridge and Village Tour (lunch)
- Take a leisurely drive through Hue’s countryside, passing rice fields, small villages, and scenic landscapes.
- Visit the Thanh Toan Tile Covered Bridge, an ancient Japanese-style bridge.
- Visit Thanh Toan museum where exhibits many agricultural tools and a lot of pictures telling about farming scenes of Vietnamese people
- Explore the village market and learn about local people’s daily mechant activities.
- Experience traditional farming activities like rice planting and harvesting (seasonal) and then join in a cooking class.
After lunch, drive to Tam Giang Lagoon.
2:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Tam Giang Lagoon Exploration
- Take a boat ride on the lagoon to see how local fishermen live and work.
- Visit floating fishing villages and learn about traditional fishing techniques.
4:30 PM – 5:30 PM: Sunset by the Lagoon
- Relax and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere as the sun sets over Tam Giang Lagoon.
- Enjoy fresh fish, shrimp and other lagoon specialties.
6:00 PM: Drop-Off
- Return to your hotel after a day immersed in Hue’s countryside and lagoon beauty.
