DETAILED PROGRAM

DAY 1:   Plane icon HANOI ARRIVAL   (No meal)

Welcome to Vietnam!

Upon your arrival in Hanoi, our guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is for you to get rid of the jet lag and have a rest.

DAY 2:   Bus icon FULL DAY HANOI CITY TOUR   (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)

Today you will visit Hanoi City attractions includes Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh House on Stilt, One Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Temple.  In the afternoon, you will visit Museum of Ethnology and cycle through the Old Quarter of Hanoi (by Rickshaw) (about 1hr), last stop is Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple and enjoy a Water Puppet Show to learn more about Vietnamese traditional culture.

DAY 3:   HANOI  Bus icon  NINH BINH   (Breakfast, Lunch)

Morning drive to visit Hoa Lu, the ancient capital city of the Dinh Dynasty and Bai Dinh pagoda, the largest pagoda complex in Vietnam. After lunch, take the amazing boat trip to visit Trang An grottoes.

DAY 4:   NINH BINH  Bus icon  HA LONG BAY  (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Today you will drive to the World Heritage site of Ha long Bay, where you can see nearly 2,000 limestone islands dot the sea and traditional sampans and junks sail the glinting water, grottos, thick forests, and hidden coves, it will be a real ocean adventure! A variety of option activities like kayaking, swimming will definitely add more fun to this trip.

DAY 5: HA LONG BAY  Bus icon  HANOI   (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Today continue your unforgettable Halong Bay cruise until a big brunch is finished and then disembark the cruiser at around 10 am. Your guide and driver will meet you at the pier then drive to Hanoi (around 4 hours drive).

DAY 6:   HA NOI  Plane icon  DONG HOI   (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Be free in the morning till it is time to take the flight to Dong Hoi. Upon arrival, hotel checks in and free at leisure in the evening.

DAY 7:   VISIT PHONG NHA CAVE & PARADISE CAVE   (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Transfer to Phong Nha National Park this morning, and then board your private boat for the 1.5km cruise down the Son River to the Phong Nha Caves. You will enter the mystical tunnels filled with mighty stalactites and stalagmites and visit the Paradise Cave before returning to Dong Hoi.

DAY 8:   DONG HOI  Bus icon  HUE   (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Leave Dong Hoi for Quang Tri Province – Visit to Vinh Moc Tunnels The Old DMZ (Vietnamese Demilitarized Zone) – Hien Luong Bridge, Ben Hai River, the Border between the North and the South of Vietnam. Then, you will take transfer to Hue.

DAY 9:   Bus icon  FULL DAY HUE SIGHTSEEING  (Breakfast, Lunch)

Today, you will discover Hue with the 1st visit to the Ancient Imperial Citadel, a complex of palaces and temples built by the Nguyen from early 19th Century for which Hue was recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage and the Hue Royal Antiquities Museum which is dedicated to Vietnam’s imperial past and arts of that era Then, you will embark on a drive to Hue’s countryside to reach the Emperor Tu Duc’s tomb, one of the most beautiful royal architectures of Nguyen dynasty. Explore more of Vietnam life with the effected of Royal life, garden house in Hue is one of them. “Garden house” is a typical and unique characteristic of Hue city. You will visit the traditional handicraft village: Thuy Xuan Hat – Incense making village, you will see how Hue Hat (non Hue) – a symbolized for the beauty of Hue lady. Late afternoon, visit Thien Mu pagoda and enjoy the leisure boat trip on the scenic Perfume River.

DAY 10:   HUE  Bus icon  DA NANG  Bus icon  HOI AN   (Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast in the hotel, you will have a nice drive over the scenic Hai Van pass along the coast to the ancient town of Hoian. You will have a short stop in spectacular Lang Co beach for a view. Arrive in Danang, stops to visit Cham Sculpture museum – one of the most fascinating museums in Vietnam. It’s home to several cultural artifacts in the Central and Central Highlands of Vietnam, preserving the spirit of the ancient Champa kingdom; Dragon Bridge– the symbol of Danang City; and Marble Mountain (Ngu Hanh Son), discover the stunning natural caves of the mountain and enjoy the beautiful view from the top of the Marble Mountain. Then continue our trip to Hoi An.

DAY 11:   HOI AN  Bus icon  MY SON  Bus icon  HOI AN (Breakfast, Lunch)

This morning depart for the My Son Holy Land to see the remains of Kingdom of Champa. At noon, drive back to Hoi An to visit Japanese Bridge, renowned Chinese Temple, and former Vietnamese merchants house. Then enjoy some leisure time in the ancient town.

DAY 12:   HOI AN  Bus icon  DA NANG  Plane icon  HO CHI MINH   (Breakfast)

You will have free time till your guide meets you and escorts you to airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon your arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, our guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel, the rest of the day is on your own.

DAY 13:   Bus icon  FULL DAY  HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR   (Breakfast) This morning set out for the incredible underground Cu Chi Tunnels, and then drive back to Ho Chi Minh City to visit the War Remnants Museum and Reunification Palace (the former Presidential Palace), the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office and Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat) absolutely nice choices for a free stroll.

DAY 14:   HO CHI MINH  Bus icon  MEKONG DELTACruise Ship Logo Vector Icon Graphic (Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast, we will depart the city and enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields to My Tho in the Mekong Delta. On arrived at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea. Visit a local family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village. Meet our driver and return to Ho Chi Minh City for overnight. This trip provides a fascinating insight into daily life in the Mekong Delta and you are guaranteed to take home your own private collection of beautiful memories.
